Research Associate / Fellow (AI for Audio/Acoustic transcription)

We are looking for a Research Fellow/Research Associate to continue existing work on applying AI for Audio/Acoustic transcription and signal processing. The role will focus on developing brand new models and algorithms to enhance the current project to made it more industry ready that focus on cross-platform instead of current single platform.

• →Leading the effort to translate high-level audio algorithms implemented in other audio prototyping software into a high-performance, architecture-specific code.
• →Working closely with other researchers to design and implement DSP algorithms that meet system-level constraints.
• →Defining and implementing software architecture for real-time audio systems on prototype hardware containing a multitude of co-processors.
• →Developing key AI model that is efficient and suited for acoustic/audio transcription and must have deep knowledge on inter-disciplinary domains.

• PhD (for Research Fellow) / Master (for Research Associate equivalent) qualification degree in acoustic/audio and AI related field
• At least 4 years of relevant experiences in performing research in AI assisted acoustic/audio / technical hands-on experience embedded processor/GPU programming
• Good written and oral communication skills (if applicable)
• Proficiency in building embedded system for the AI-assisted Audio application. Proficient in python/matlab/C programming and have a strong numeric and analytical skill
• Have experience in working on noise control project to improve detectability in this project
• Competent in soft skills / general personality traits e.g. developing UI and apps
• Interpersonal skill: able to work independently, deep analysis, eye for details and time management skills
