Responsibilities

→ Install commercial HVAC equipment and systems according to plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and code.
→ Install round and rectangular ductwork, gas lines, condensate lines, and related HVAC components.
→ Install and connect controls, wiring, and equipment accessories within the scope of the position.
→ Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job requirements.
→ Complete commercial HVAC installations from startup through project completion.
→ Identify field conditions, installation issues, and material needs and communicate them promptly.
→ Coordinate with project managers, foremen, technicians, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers.
→ Assist with inspections, job documentation, and project closeout.
→ Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
→ Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures.
→ Depending on experience, provide direction and support to less-experienced installers.
