Responsibilities

- →CA or CPA qualification is required.
- →Minimum 5 years of experience in Australian accounting, financial accounting, or a similar role.
- →Strong experience with Australian accounting practices, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- →Experience managing journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- →Experience with BAS, FBT, payroll tax, WorkCover, and other Australian statutory requirements.
- →Experience with project accounting and financial reporting.
- →Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- →Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting systems.
- →Strong experience using Xero.
- →Experience working across multiple entities is highly regarded.
- →HubSpot or similar CRM experience is an advantage.
- →Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- →Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- →Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- →Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- →Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- →Understanding confidentiality, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
- →Proactive approach to identifying issues and improving finance processes.
- →Experience supporting or mentoring junior accounting staff is highly regarded.
