Insurance Admin Assistant (AU Client - Remote)

You will be required to assist with general insurance administration and claims support, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below. You will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, prepare and send statements, maintain accurate records, lodge and follow up claims, pre-renewal declarations and outstanding documentation, and liaise with clients and insurers via email and phone. WinBEAT experience is mandatory.
Responsibilities

- →WinBEAT administration and record maintenance.
- →Prepare and send client statements, pre-renewal declarations and insurance documentation.
- →Assist with claims administration and follow up outstanding claims with insurers, assessors, and clients.
- →Sent emails to follow up for instalment dishonours
- →Process cancellations in WinBeat & SCTP and insurer portals
- →Occasionally process endorsements or new business
- →Follow up outstanding information and documentation.
- →Maintain accurate client, policy, and claims records.
- →Handle emails, phone calls, and general client enquiries.
- →Assist with filing, document preparation, and other administrative tasks.
- →Complete ad hoc administrative tasks and other duties as required to support the team.
- →Escalate complex or unresolved matters to the appropriate team member.
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum 2 years' experience in Australian general insurance administration or broking.
- Hands-on experience using WinBEAT is mandatory.
- Experience with insurance claims and claims follow-up.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident handling phone calls and communicating with clients and insurers.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
- Ability to complete ad hoc tasks and provide general administrative support as required.
- Experience working with Australian insurance brokers or insurers is highly regarded.
