Are you a compassionate, experienced Family Medicine physician looking for the perfect blend of patient care, leadership, and medical education? Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible MD to join our team in a unique role combining 75% clinical practice with 25% dedicated time serving as Family Practice Medical Director, educational leader, and Rural Residency program partner.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on patient care while helping shape the future of rural medicine through physician leadership, mentorship, and residency education.

  • Provide comprehensive Family Medicine services in an outpatient setting
  • Develop long-term relationships with patients and families across generations
  • Opportunity to collaborate with hospital and specialty services
  • No Obstetrics required
  • Serve as Family Practice Medical Director, partnering with clinical and administrative leadership
  • Support quality improvement, provider development, and clinical best practices
  • Collaborate with rural residency training programs and academic partners
  • Mentor medical students and residents
  • Help advance and strengthen rural healthcare education and workforce development
  • Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives for Family Medicine services

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Be eligible for Washington State medical licensure
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based care
  • Possess leadership experience or an interest in medical leadership
  • Enjoy teaching, mentoring, and fostering professional development
  • Have a passion for rural healthcare and community-based medicine
  • Value collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered care
