We are seeking dedicated Mental Health Technicians to join our team and support individuals receiving behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting. Under close supervision, this role plays a key part in delivering both direct and indirect care to patients in need of behavioral health support.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Monday-Friday-7:00am-4:00pm
- →Hourly Rates:
- →Level II: $15.28 hourly
- →Potential to earn extra $$:
- →Extra $.50/hour for working evenings and nights
- →Extra $.75/hour for working weekends and holiday
- →Mental Health Technicians also receive an extra $1 per hour shift pay, for any shift worked! That can be stacked on top of the Evening/Weekend pay too.
- →Weekends and Holidays May be Required!
- →Primary position will be with Medical Support/Lab. Technicians are expected to cover the Unit floors if coverage is needed.
- →FLSA Status is Non-Exempt.

Requirements

- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
