Responsibilities

  • →Coordinating compliance activities aligned with TEQSA requirements and the Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF). 
  • →Supporting provider registration, re-registration and course accreditation activities. 
  • →Preparing regulatory submissions, reports, notifications and compliance documentation. 
  • →Managing the Institute's policy framework, including policy reviews, registers and document control processes. 
  • →Providing secretariat support to the Academic Board and governance committees, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking. 
  • →Maintaining governance records, risk registers and committee documentation. 
  • →Supporting quality assurance, audit and continuous improvement initiatives across the Institute. 

 

  • At least 5 years' experience in a compliance, quality assurance or governance secretariat role, ideally within a TEQSA-registered higher education provider or RTO. 
  • Sound working knowledge of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 and TEQSA's regulatory approach. 
  • Strong policy writing, records management and risk register maintenance skills. 
  • Experience providing secretariat support to a Board or Academic Board, including minute-taking and Terms of Reference administration. 
  • High attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple statutory deadlines. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing responsibilities. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships with academic, governance and operational stakeholders
