Safely operate propane or electric-powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices, such as fork arms, swivel-hook, fork-grapple, clamps, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a warehouse environment.

✓Conducts pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment that is operated by the employee.

✓Reports all defects to their supervisor immediately and ensures that the equipment is locked and tagged out of service.

✓Utilize the powered industrial truck to: Load and unload trucks as needed.

✓Move materials to and from storage and or to a workstation.

✓Stack and unstack materials for storage and product weighing.

✓Transfer donations throughout the production and salvage processes. Ø Dump trash from the forklift dumpster attachment.

✓Is responsible for ensuring that the equipment that is being operated is properly refueled.

✓Use appropriate equipment when moving materials that do not require a powered industrial truck, such as a dolly, pallet jack or a flat cart.

✓Meet minimum daily production goals.

✓Reviews and is familiar with Goodwill safety policies, programs and operating procedures.

✓Adheres to all safety rules, regulations, and attends all applicable safety training sessions.

Responsibilities

→Valid driver’s license
→Maintain a good driving and safety record.

Requirements

Warehouse environment that may contain allergens such as dust and pollens as well as extreme heat and cold.
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The noise level is moderate.
Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule includes days, holidays, and weekends. Schedule may vary from week to week.
Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
