What We Offer

- Position is on-site in Oklahoma City, OK.
As an Accessibility and Content editor, you will serve as the final line of defense for quality and brand integrity. You will transform complex information into readable, 508-compliant materials while maintaining high editorial standards and consistent branding across all communication channels.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Review, edit and verify a high volume of written content to ensure accuracy, clarity and strict adherence to state branding and AP Stylebook rules and guidelines.
- →Correct grammar, spelling and punctuation errors in informational and educational publications, bulletins, presentations, manuals, user guides and other communication materials.
- →Format and style Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents to meet professional branding guidelines and federal Section 508 accessibility standards.
- →Other duties as assigned.
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in English, communications or journalism and four (4) years of professional experience in content editing and/or accessibility remediation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in addition to experience using remediation software, preferably CommonLook.
