This role provides essential administrative, data management, and support for initiatives within the Teaching and Learning division. It requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in data handling and reporting. The position assists with scheduling, records management, and correspondence; organizes and maintains instructional program and professional learning data; and supports events such as trainings, curriculum meetings, and professional development sessions. Additionally, it contributes to developing resources, planning educator learning opportunities, and fostering collaborative partnerships that advance the division’s strategic goals.

  • →Knowledge & Expertise: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in data management and reporting using software applications. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • →Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the division's leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • →Data Management: Assist in the collection, organization, and maintenance of data related to instructional programs, educator learning initiatives, and division activities. Ensure data accuracy and produce regular reports to inform decision‑making.
  • →Fiscal, Purchasing, and Resource Coordination: Assist with purchase requests, procurement documentation, travel reimbursements, invoices, and other fiscal processes. Coordinate with appropriate agency personnel to ensure administrative and purchasing requirements are completed accurately and on time. Track office supplies, equipment, materials, and other resources. Maintain documentation supporting expenditures, contracts, and program activities, as assigned.
  • →Professional Development: Support the planning and delivery of professional development opportunities for educators to enhance their skills and promote ongoing growth.
  • →Resource Development: Help create and disseminate resources and materials to support teacher recruitment and retention efforts. Collaborate with content experts to ensure resources are accurate and relevant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a closely related field;
  • Four (4) years of experience in administrative support or similar role;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of relevant experience for each year of the required education.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future;
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license from a U.S. state or territory to perform necessary job-related travel.
  • Less than 10% in-state/out-of-state travel may be required.
