About the Position:  

The TCBH Security Department is hiring for a Fire Prevention/Security Officer I or II.  Duties would include inspection and patrolling of buildings and grounds for elimination of fire hazards; enforcement of laws, rules and regulations; providing assistance to employees or visitors; and performing other duties related to the protection of state property, employees, visitors and others.   

  

Job Type/Salary:   

  • Open/Close dates: 9/28/2026 - Until filled  
  • Full-time  
  • Hourly rate: Fire Prevention & Security Officer II: $16.14 hourly or $33,580.00 annual
                        Fire Prevention & Security Officer I: $15.18 hourly or $31,580.00 annual
  • $0.50/hr shift differentials when working evening or nights and $0.75/hr weekends 
  • Primary Working Hours are 11:30pm-8:00am 
  • FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt  
  • Primary Work Location/Department: TCBH–Security Dept 
  • Vacancies: 1
