About the Role

The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time career-track Associate/Full Professor in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery.

If you have a passion for educating the next generation of veterinarians and veterinary specialists, providing exceptional patient care, love contributing to clinical research and want to work in a collegial and supportive environment, this is the position for you.

Responsibilities will include teaching and clinical service in the Food Animal (FA) Clinic of the Veterinary Medical Hospital, training of residents and interns, and didactic lectures and laboratory instruction for veterinary students.  Clinical responsibilities will include primary to tertiary care within the Food Animal section of the Large Animal Hospital.  

Requirements

  • Eligibility for faculty licensure in Oklahoma is required. 
  • Candidates qualified to take the ACVIM, ACVS, ACVPM, or ABVP certification examination are encouraged to apply.  At least 6 years of experience post residency training is desirable. Interest and clinical experience in routine food animal theriogenology is desirable. Opportunity to participate in the food animal ambulatory service is available to interested candidates. Candidates certified by comparable EBVS recognized Colleges are encouraged to apply.
