Responsibilities
~1 min readJoin a team where precision meets purpose. As a Production Engineer, you'll be the critical link between customer vision and manufacturing execution, ensuring every project moves from order to shipment with accuracy & care.
- →Building deep product & accessory expertise you'll rely on to guide every order
- →Creating & editing sales orders that reflect exactly what customers contracted for
- →Delivering accurate, quality documentation that keeps project schedules on track
- →Partnering with Project Management to resolve order questions quickly & keep external customers informed
- →Equipping internal teams with the documentation needed to purchase & manufacture with confidence
- →Sourcing competitive quotes through procurement & vendor partners for panels, breakform & security screens
- →Comparing quoted vs. ordered jobs & collaborating with Project Management, Sales & supervisors to resolve variances or shape change orders
- →Producing technical drawings for breakform, fabrication & glass that guide Purchasing & Manufacturing
- →Maintaining accurate records that support Finance & Accounting
- →Contributing wherever needed across the Process Engineering Department, because we grow together
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds & career paths who bring curiosity, precision & a collaborative spirit. An associate's degree in a technical discipline (like Engineering) is valued, & so is equivalent hands-on experience in order processing or project administration, however you gained it.
You'll thrive here if you have:
- Experience in the fenestration industry (a plus, not a must)
- Familiarity with Soft Tech V6 or similar order management systems (nice to have)
- Comfort reading technical, product & construction drawings
- Solid computer skills across Excel, Word, Access & CAD
- Strong keyboarding & math skills
- A sharp eye for detail & a commitment to accuracy
