"Plumbing Apprentice — Learn the Trade, Build a Career"

Pay: $22.00/hour to start Position Type: Full Time

OPT is looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice ready to build a long term career in the trade. No prior plumbing experience is required, though it's a plus if you have it. What matters most is a strong work ethic, reliable work history, hands on ability, and a genuine goal to grow into a licensed plumbing technician.

This role is the starting point for someone who wants to learn the trade from the ground up, working alongside experienced technicians on real jobs every day.

• →Assist licensed technicians with residential plumbing installs, repairs, and service calls
• →Learn to read job tickets, gather materials, and prep job sites
• →Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely and correctly
• →Learn plumbing codes, techniques, and best practices through direct, hands on training
• →Keep work vehicles and job sites clean, organized, and stocked
• →Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
• →Follow all OPT safety protocols and procedures
• →Take on more responsibility as skills develop, working toward apprenticeship hours and licensure requirements

• No plumbing experience required. Prior experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Hands on experience in any trade, labor, mechanical, or technical field
• Solid, reliable work history
• A genuine interest in building a long term career as a licensed plumber
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physical ability to lift, kneel, crawl, and work in tight spaces as needed
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
