In this role you will complete varied tasks which include:

  • →

Work closely with a key customer to monitor stock, picking activity and operational performance, using data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

  • →

Analyse and optimise picking routes, product locations and slotting to improve productivity, reduce unnecessary travel and ensure fast-moving products are easily accessible.

  • →

Review picking methods and processes to improve efficiency, including product grouping, route planning and reducing unnecessary product handling.

  • →

Ensure pallets, totes and equipment are positioned effectively, supporting the marshalling of pallets and smooth day-to-day operations.

  • →

Monitor replenishment requirements to keep forward-pick locations stocked, identify stockouts and coordinate replenishment outside peak periods where possible.

  • →

Investigate and support the resolution of stock discrepancies, with a particular focus on the key customer’s stock, while assisting with wider discrepancies where required.

  • →

Work collaboratively with warehouse, operational and customer teams to implement continuous improvements, maintain accurate records and ensure all company, regulatory and safety standards are followed.

  • 1-2 years' experience in stock control, inventory, warehouse operations or a similar environment. Experience in stock optimisation or picking operations would be advantageous, but food industry experience is not essential.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with stock information and operational data.

  • Computer literate and confident using Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.

  • A proactive and adaptable team player who can work independently, manage changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • A permanent opportunity with a direct employer; we will not employ you through an agency.

  • Opportunity to develop a career within an industry leading global company.

  • Opportunity to earn an additional day of annual leave each year, up to the maximum of one extra week for length of service.

  • Free onsite car park

  • Support your emotional well-being with access to a 24/7 employee assistance phone line offering confidential free counselling and advice.

  • Preferential rates for loans and savings offered through exclusive access to a credit union.

We are a global company with more than 22,000 employees spanning 20 countries and more than 400 locations across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America.

At Lineage Logistics, we have a shared purpose; we are transforming the food supply chain to eliminate waste and help feed the world.
