Front End Engineer

Role Overview 

As a Front-End Developer at Ontinue, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing user-centric interfaces for the ION MXDR platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and back-end developers to create intuitive, responsive, and performant front-end applications that align with our commitment to excellence. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable front-end components for the ION MXDR platform. 

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and create seamless user experiences. 

• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure end-to-end functionality. 

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness. 

• Maintain and improve front-end build systems, tooling, and deployment pipelines. 

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and address any browser-specific performance issues. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team. 

• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure robust and secure code. 

 

Required Experience & Skills 

Required 

• Experience: 5+ years of professional front-end development experience. 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Technical Skills: 

• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (React.js preferred). 

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript 

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications. 

• Proficiency in front-end tools (e.g., Babel, Vite, Next.js) and version control systems (Git).  

• Proficiency with automated unit tests. 

• Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles. 

• Familiarity with Microsoft security tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Defender) is a plus. 

Preferred 

• Experience with C# 

• Experience with Azure 

• Experience working in cybersecurity or SaaS environments. 

• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Highcharts, D3.js, Chart.js, ReactFlow. (Highcharts preferred) to build intuitive security dashboards. 

• Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines.
