Warehouse Group Lead - Day Shift

The Warehouse Group Lead contributes to the success of the distribution center operations by assisting the Warehouse Manager in leading personnel and ensuring the efficient movement of product throughout the facility. This position monitors accurate and efficient practices while following SOPs and safety guidelines.
Day Shift – 12-hour per day, rotating schedule (6:00am-6:30pm) 3 days on week 1 and 4 days on week 2 of pay cycle (Requires every other weekend)
- Plans, leads, and executes the handling, receiving, shipping, transporting, stacking, order filling and maintaining of records.
Maintain inventory integrity through proactive monitoring, cycle count execution, discrepancy resolution, and adherence to established inventory control practices.
- Takes responsibility for the assigned area(s) and leads the warehouse operation(s), while being an active hands-on member of the team.
- Manages employees to ensure required tasks are completed efficiently on a daily basis.
- Serves as the point of contact for employees when questions or concerns arise.
- Leads by example, is proactive and encourages others in the pursuit of continuous improvement projects and performance excellence.
- Ensures that housekeeping standards are being maintained and ensures a high standard of Health & Safety across the warehouse.
- Identifies skill gaps and/or areas of potential training needs with individual employees and communicates observations to Manager.
- Provides accuracy while working with inventory and paperwork utilizing Standard Operating Procedure controls as well as Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Works with other departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Maintains knowledge of entire warehouse functions and operations and assists as required.
- High School or GED - Required
- 5 years or more in Warehouse and/or Manufacturing
- 2 Years or more with Inventory Management
- 1 year or more in Leadership experience
- Basic Computer skills preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.00 to $32.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
