Video Director - Grand Ole Opry

To oversee and serve as director of the video projection system, as well as record live performance events at the Grand Ole Opry House including Grand Ole Opry shows. To oversee the operation of all video equipment including the Grand Ole Opry marquee sign.

Plan, set up and operate video equipment and systems for live and taped productions, recordings and any other video needs of the Grand Ole Opry and its clients.
Program Grand Ole Opry marquee sign as directed.
Maintain knowledge of all professional video equipment, all routing, all processing and recording devices.
Supervise and direct camera operators.
Select alternate equipment and systems routing in order to work around failures occurring during production.
Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
May interface with producers, clients and talent as to their needs, making recommendations as appropriate in order to create the desired video (mood).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Five or more years experience as a Video Engineer
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of professional video systems and equipment.
Ability to interface with management and clients
Licenses / Certifications
