Warehouse Operative - Swansea Train Station

Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Warehouse Operative to join one of our well-respected and successful clients at Swansea Train Station. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic working conditions and facilities.

• Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour.
• Shift Times: 5 days out of 7, working 40 hours per week.
• Hours: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 05:30 and 21:00.
• Weekly Pay (every Friday).
• Full training provided.
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)
• ASAP Start!

• →Packaging pre-prepared food items in accordance with Great Western Railway (GWR) catering standards and client requirements.
• →Working in a chilled environment to ensure food items are stored and handled safely.
• →Restocking GWR catering trolleys with food and drink items, ensuring they are fully stocked and ready for transportation onto outgoing trains.
• →Washing and cleaning equipment, dishes, cutlery and catering trolleys returned from GWR trains.
• →Maintaining a consistently clean, safe and hygienic working environment in line with food safety standards.
• →Carrying out stock checks and stocktaking accurately to ensure sufficient catering supplies are available for GWR train services.
• →Safely operating manual handling equipment to move and transport catering goods and supplies.
• →Ensuring all catering orders are packed accurately, efficiently and on time to support the smooth running of GWR onboard catering services.

• Previous warehouse, picking and packing experience desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable working in a chilled, fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and health and safety.
• Experience with stock replenishment and manual handling advantageous.
• Good attention to detail, reliability and teamwork.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties.
