Oregon State Hospital (OSH), a division of the Oregon Health Authority, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physicians to join our multidisciplinary team.

As OSH’s Primary Care Physician, you will provide non-psychiatric medical evaluation and treatment for adults with severe mental illness in an inpatient forensic psychiatric setting. You will work in collaboration with psychiatric attending providers, who maintain primary responsibility for the overall plan of care. You will serve as a medical consultant to the interdisciplinary treatment team, addressing acute and chronic medical conditions, supporting coordinated care, and contributing to integrated, whole-person treatment planning. With robust on‑site medical services, including cardiology with echocardiogram and EEG, podiatry, speech and language pathology, physical and occupational therapy, dentistry, and optometry, OSH ensures comprehensive care and partners with community hospitals for additional specialties. • The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
