Senior Front End Engineer

To quickly understand requirements, propose solutions, follow best practices, participate in code reviews and lead on some sprints.  You will innovate during your day-to-day work and share knowledge with more junior members of the team.  You will provide input and influence discussions around best practices and new technologies helping the team to develop an effective basis for future developments.  You will need to be able to proactively identify gaps in the system, support the existing architecture and effectively prioritize whilst maintaining a high level of interaction with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design and implement functional requirements
• Build efficient, scalable front-end features in Angular with Typescript
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
• Improve functionality of the existing systems
• Optimize front-end performance
• Manage testing and bug fixes
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
• Prepare technical documentation and participate with your team in scrum activities from design through to implementation stage and support

Skills and Experience:

• Strong Technical Angular Engineer that can demonstrate the delivery of high quality, well-tested solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and SASS
• Excellent knowledge of Angular 16+ features including using rxjs and ngrx
• Excellent knowledge and experience writing unit tests
• Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design using common patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and coach more junior members of the team
• Experience of Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova desirable
• Experience of Angular signals desirable
