Osmo is seeking a Compounder to accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets in our sample lab. This is a craft, not just a process: precision, real understanding of raw material characteristics, and developing sensory judgment are what separate a successful sample lab compounder from someone just following steps.

  Fragrance Compounding — Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets

• →

  Verify Materials & Formulas — Check materials against specifications and batch sheets before use, and flag discrepancies before they become a downstream problem

• →

  Equipment Operation & Maintenance — Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following SOPs

• →

  Safety & Compliance — Follow all company safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and PPE

• →

  Inventory Management — Assist in monitoring raw material stock levels using Osmo's inventory system, and notify supervisors of shortages

• →

  Collaboration — Work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency

• 2-5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience within fragrance or flavor manufacturing

• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials

• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Able to lift 25 lbs

• Understand the order of addition for certain raw materials and the reasons behind it

• Ability to distinguish fragrance notes

• Prior experience with inventory or production tracking systems, or material-handling equipment certification (e.g. forklift)
