The Clinical Neuroscience Lab is directed by Dr. Ruchika Prakash. The laboratory is funded by the National Institute on Aging and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to conduct mind-body interventions for healthy older adults and individuals with multiple sclerosis, respectively. The postdoctoral associate will be working on recently completed randomized controlled trials examining the efficacy of mindfulness meditation and exercise interventions for cognitive and brain functioning. Additionally, several new projects, including real-time neurofeedback training, development of web-based mindfulness interventions, and a pilot exercise training trial are underway.

The postdoctoral associate will have flexibility in choosing their topic(s) of interest. The successful candidate will also be involved in dissemination of the lab’s work through peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference presentations, and outreach to the public.
