We are looking for a Senior Logistics Manager, Americas Retail Operations to act as the definitive leader for all things retail logistics within the Americas. Oura is experiencing explosive momentum, delivering 100% YoY growth over the past three years—moving from zero retailers in 2023 to multiple active major accounts today, with more launches slated for this year alone. In this role, you will lead a team of 2 direct reports and take full scope ownership of both sustaining/optimizing our current retail footprint and executing flawless new retailer launches. You will own the performance metrics, drive cost-down strategies, and act as the vital bridge between retail operations, 3PL partners, and our internal Trade and Logistics teams.
- Act as the primary logistics operational lead for all Americas retail channels, ensuring existing accounts are optimized while seamlessly onboarding the 6 new retailers in our pipeline.
- Evaluate complex new retailer routing guides and technical requirements, setting up our 3PL partners successfully to execute error-free launches.
- Enforce strict compliance across routing guides, packaging/labeling mandates, and technical EDI readiness to protect brand reputation and delivery standards.
- Drive operational efficiency to systematically accelerate fulfillment speed and shorten PO-to-delivery timeframes across the Americas.
- Run sophisticated cost analyses across both Prepaid and Collect freight models to determine the most profitable distribution path forward and map out our true cost-to-serve.
- Create, implement, and own an end-to-end chargeback deduction and dispute process to rigorously defend company margins against retail penalties.
- Identify, analyze, and execute aggressive logistics cost-down initiatives to reduce total retail cost-per-unit.
- Own all retail KPI reporting and performance analysis, turning operational data into actionable supply chain improvements.
- Serve as the definitive cross-functional voice for logistics, partnering closely with Sales and Account Management during commercial expansion discussions to ensure supply chain readiness.
- Collaborate closely with internal Trade Compliance and Global Logistics teams to design and align the warehouse and distribution networks needed to support further expansions into Canada and LATAM.
- Partner with technical and IT teams to automate manual tracking workflows, reduce data errors, and enhance real-time end-to-end shipment visibility.
- Directly manage, train, and mentor a dedicated team of two current logistics reports, fostering their professional development.
- Define the long-term operational blueprint, scaling strategy, and structure for what the Americas retail logistics team looks like down the line.
- 7+ years of experience in retail logistics, B2B wholesale distribution, or supply chain operations, including 2+ years of direct people management experience within a product-shipping industry (e.g., CPG, Consumer Electronics, Apparel).
- Deep technical expertise in retail compliance and chargeback management, with a proven track record of analyzing routing guides, managing EDI setups, and building systematic processes to audit and dispute retailer deductions.
- Strong financial and operational analytical skills, specifically experienced in running freight cost-to-serve models, evaluating Prepaid vs. Collect structures, and optimizing PO-to-delivery cycle times.
- Collaborative network experience, with a background working closely alongside internal Trade Compliance and Global Logistics teams to support retail fulfillment nodes (exposure to Canada/LATAM distribution a plus).
- Exceptional cross-functional communication and influence, with the ability to confidently act as the "voice of logistics" to sales teams, corporate leadership, and external 3PL partners.
- High data literacy and a continuous-improvement mindset, capable of translating complex logistics data into actionable workflow automation and aggressive cost-down strategies.
