Product Audit Supervisor

The Product Audit Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality for Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. They will lead a team of auditors, coordinating with various departments to implement and follow the audit plan. This role is integral to the company's quality improvement initiatives, focusing on trucks, buses, and chassis.

• Supervise and lead a team of product auditors, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement an effective audit plan, ensuring coverage of all critical areas.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to review audit results and insights.
• Encourage and motivate DA to conduct positive audits and identify areas for improvement (Kaizens).
• Engage in product quality improvement drives, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze audit data and provide regular reports to the L5, highlighting areas of concern and success.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to address any design-related quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, keeping up-to-date with the latest quality requirements.
• Mentor and train new auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in product auditing and quality management.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product auditing or quality control, with a focus on commercial vehicles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using auditing tools and software, and a good understanding of data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to commercial vehicle manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Willingness to travel for audit assignments and quality improvement initiatives.
• Fluency in English and Hindi, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
