The A&P Mechanic (Level III) will perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on all aircraft systems; piston engine, propeller, airframe flight control, landing gear, troubleshooting systems, sheet metal and composite repair at an elevated level. The individual will also be able to mentor, supervise and support other technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
→
Ensure aircraft are ready for flights and in safe operating condition.
→
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on multi-engine piston aircraft.
→
Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft systems.
→
Conduct repairs on aircraft components, including engines, propellers, and landing gears.

Familiar with Federal Aviation Regulations, operational procedures, and industry standards.

Regularly updates technical and aeronautical expertise through training, self-study, and operational experience.

Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Perform all maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, and manufacturers’ technical data.

Responsible for personal and company tool accountability to include reporting unserviceable tools and equipment.

Perform serviceability checks prior to operating powered and non-powered support equipment.

Comply with established policies, procedures and standards.
→
Comply with all safety, environmental security and housekeeping standards.
→
Comply with training requirements.
→
Operate vehicles both special purpose and regular as authorized.
→
Perform and provide direct technical guidance in troubleshooting, aircraft inspections, and aircraft maintenance.
→
Interpret engineering drawings, STCs, and installation packages.
→
Other duties as assigned.
