THE OPPORTUNITY

Parent Possible is seeking a Manager of Statewide Parent as Teachers (PAT) & Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) Implementation to support the successful implementation of PAT and HIPPY programs across Colorado. This position combines implementation support and operational coordination responsibilities and serves as a primary implementation manager for assigned affiliates and sites.

WHAT WE DO

Parent Possible equips parents with the tools and information to be their child’s most valuable teacher, trainer and mentor in life. We promote and oversee delivery of three proven parent engagement programs, providing access and support, ensuring efficacy and impact, and advocating and collaborating with early childhood partners across the state.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Manager provides routine technical assistance, implementation support, relationship management, meeting and event coordination, documentation management, and communication support for PAT affiliates and HIPPY sites. The Manager works closely with the Director of Statewide PAT & HIPPY Implementation, Senior Managers, and the Training & Events Manager to support program quality, affiliate success, and statewide implementation efforts.

Implementation Support (with the Affiliate & Site Support section this is 70% of effort)

  • Serve as primary implementation manager for assigned PAT affiliates in the State.
  • Lead assigned programs in implementing PAT and/or HIPPY with fidelity, identifying risks, recommending corrective actions, and supporting continuous quality improvement.
  • Manage implementation activities, milestones, and follow-up items to support successful program delivery.
  • Ensure affiliates and sites understand state and model expectations, requirements, and timelines.
  • Lead virtual and on-site affiliate support visits and provide documentation, follow-up activities, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Lead affiliates through implementation processes, including preparation for required reporting and review activities.
  • Identify implementation challenges and opportunities and communicate trends to leadership.

Affiliate and Site Support

  • Oversee implementation support activities for PAT and HIPPY sites with guidance from the Senior Manager, ensuring timely resolution of action items, requests, and follow-up activities.
  • Manage implementation milestones, participation, and progress, keeping accurate records and documentation for assigned sites.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of PAT and HIPPY programming, including current issues and challenges facing individual affiliates and sites, key resources available, and clear understanding of individual affiliates/sites quality, adherence to model fidelity, and progress toward stated objectives.
  • Conduct on-site or virtual monitoring visits of assigned PAT affiliates, utilizing quality/fidelity protocols and compliance/risk assessment tools and managing records of visits, findings, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plans.
  • Manage affiliate achievement of Essential Requirements and implementation quality for assigned site.
  • Support PAT Senior Manager to coach affiliates through APR and QEIP process.
  • Generate correspondence and responses to PAT affiliates and HIPPY sites related to policies, procedures, progress reports, and other general inquiries.
  • Provide PAT assigned affiliates with annual Affiliate Performance Review guidance and review.
  • Build and foster positive relationships with affiliate and site leadership and staff.
  • Lead the scheduling, facilitation, and follow-up of regular calls and meetings with assigned affiliates and sites.
  • Provide implementation guidance and consultation to affiliates by addressing routine inquiries, resolving requests, and connecting them with appropriate resources and technical assistance.
  • Escalate complex programmatic, fidelity, and implementation issues to Senior Managers as appropriate.
  • Support dissemination of program resources, tools, updates, and best practices.

Meeting and Event Logistics

  • Direct the planning and logistical execution of statewide PAT & HIPPY meetings, trainings, conferences, topical/monthly calls, communities of practice, and peer learning opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Training & Events Manager to support planning and execution of PAT and HIPPY events.
  • Lead the planning and execution of meeting logistics, including scheduling, registrations, invitations, agendas, materials, attendance documentation, and follow-up communications.
  • Manage travel and logistical arrangements associated with statewide implementation activities, ensuring alignment with program priorities and operational needs.
  • Assist PAT and HIPPY Senior Managers with onboarding logistics for new PAT and HIPPY supervisors and staff.

Systems and Documentation Management

  • Manage and optimize Basecamp, Salesforce, and other organizational systems to support implementation, communication, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure affiliate and site information is current and accurately documented.
  • Track participation, implementation support activities, meeting attendance, and follow-up actions.
  • Manage and curate electronic files, records, resource libraries, and implementation and fidelity documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Provide reports, meeting notes, summaries, and other program documentation.

Communication Support

  • Communicate updates, deadlines, announcements, and resources to PAT affiliates and HIPPY sites.
  • Support development and distribution of newsletters, reminders, and statewide communications.
  • Manage the collection and curation of success stories, photos, videos, and affiliates/site updates to support organizational communications and reporting.
  • Support communication and coordination with PAT National Center, HIPPY US Network and other implementation partners as assigned.

Other

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Statewide PAT & HIPPY Implementation and Senior Managers.
  • Support special projects, statewide initiatives, and cross-departmental efforts.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, social work, family studies, psychology, or related field or commensurate experience with parent support programs.
  • Two years of experience as a home visitor, home visiting program supervisor, or a related parent/family support programmatic position.
  • Ability to provide support, guidance, and feedback to affiliates while maintaining a strength-based approach.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships and ability to convey complex requirements while maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Ability to travel throughout Colorado, requiring 1-2 nights of travel per trip.
  • Successful experience in developing and delivering effective training for diverse individuals and populations.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply adult learning principles in training and facilitation of groups.
  • Ability to use and understand data and data systems to track program-level information.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Computer literacy and experience in Microsoft Office programs and zoom.
  • Articulated belief in the mission and programs of Parent Possible, and the ability to quickly learn about the organization’s services and priorities.
  • Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • Deep Knowledge of PAT, HIPPY, early childhood, or family support programs.
  • Experience with PAT and HIPPY programming as a parent educator/home visitor and/or supervisor or other program leadership role strongly.
  • Professional program management experience.
  • Bilingual and biliterate English/Spanish.
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions and competing priorities, independently manage multiple tasks and projects, make independent administrative/procedural decisions and judgments, and manage time efficiently to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain sound knowledge and understanding of the organization and its programs, and use that knowledge and understanding to better comprehend all projects and programs.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to function effectively under stress.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed.

WHAT OUR ORGANIZATION IS PROVIDING

  • This is a full-time salaried, exempt position reporting to the Director of Statewide PAT & HIPPY Implementation. The position salary range is $61,500 – $73,645 with an intended hiring salary of $61,500.
  • Parent Possible maintains an excellent benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, CO-FAMLI and long-term disability coverage, and an IRA with a 3% employer match from the date of hire. Parent Possible also offers paid time off (3 to 5 weeks), paid sick leave, paid parental leave, and a paid holiday office closure from December 24th to January 1st. For a strong work-life balance, we are closed every other Friday.

  • This is a hybrid position. Some work can be required (2 to 3 days a week) in our downtown Denver office, and the rest can be done remotely in Colorado.
