  • Preschool Lead Teachers are responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities and free play, along with ensuring the general health, welfare and well-being of each child as well as some lesson planning. 
  • Lead teachers need to be active participants with the children enrolled, and effective communicators with parents, children, supervisors and co-workers.
  • Teachers will be outdoors daily in all types of weather and temperatures. An enjoyment for nature and outdoors is required.

 

 

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED,
  • Early childhood education courses preferred or a Child Development Certificate
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or other relevant degree.
  • 6 months experience in preschool setting is required 
  • Patient, good with working children, good communication skills and flexible. Works well with others.
