Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Technical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to complete a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline.

Responsibilities

→ Review IFC, shop drawings, and coordination drawings for compliance with specs, codes, and employer’s requirements.
→ Coordinate technical queries and design clarifications with the design consultant; ensure timely, traceable closure.
→Conduct constructability and maintainability reviews; identify design gaps and interface risks·
→ Review and comment and recommend materials, method statements, temporary works, ITPs, mock-ups, and samples for approval.
→Track and validate NOCs/permits/authority approvals; ensure contractor adherence to authority comments and conditions·
→Lead technical site supervision oversight and independent inspections; verify compliance before consultant/authority sign-offs.
→Direct root-cause analysis and closure of NCRs/SORs; verify FAT/SAT and performance tests.
→Ensure survey controls, as-builts accuracy, and builder’s work coordination.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a
Minimum 15 years of technical engineering experience, with at least 5–8 years in the UAE and strong Abu Dhabi authority exposure.
Proven Consultant experience on mixed-use/commercial and infrastructure/landscape programs.
Strong stakeholder management and communication; excellent technical writing and review skills.
English fluency required; Arabic an advantage.
