Partech Africa - Investment Analyst Intern - January 2027

Backing champions of African tech since 2017, the Africa team seeks the next generation of category leaders across the continent. Investing from seed+ to growth, the team is based on the ground, and leverages their operational expertise and Partech’s global networks to support founders on their journey to scale.

As an intern in the Africa team, you'll be part of one of the leading tech investment firms in Africa, benefiting from the team's expertise and strong network. You will be involved at every stage of the investment process, tasks you will be working on will be threefold:

• Sourcing: Screening and reviewing investment opportunities. You will help us identify potential investment targets and present them to our internal team meetings.
• Investment process: You will help manage and assess our dealflow by evaluating pitch decks, participating in our initial assessment, meeting entrepreneurs and assisting our team in the in-depth analysis and due diligences. You will be material in writing investment memos to sum up and share analyses
• Market Research: You’ll be researching various sectors and subsectors within our target verticals and providing deep-dive analysis. You’ll also be supporting the preparation of our Partech Africa report

• Master program in business or engineering (or equivalent)
• At least a first meaningful experience in VC/PE/M&A/Consulting
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with capacity to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines 
• Committed to highest ethical standards 
• Autonomous, curious and structured profile with a data-driven mindset 
• Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills 
• Passionate about tech and entrepreneurship in Africa
• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
