- Job Type: Part-time
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am – 8:00 pm
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- →Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- →Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
- →Responds promptly to incoming calls during afterhours. (Weekends 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM)
- →Assesses patient’s needs through triaging and providing in-home care when needed.
- →Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners and interdisciplinary team to contribute a strong Plan of Care for each patient.
- →Responds to inquiries and concerns from patients, their caregivers, and their medical team.
- →Consults patients and caregivers before, during and after treatment.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2+ years' nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics is desirable.
- New nurses, feel free to apply! We have a great training program.
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Proficient with electronic medical records.
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations.
- Maintain current BLS CPR certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
