Assistant Project Manager (CTX)

Patriot Erectors is a full-service, AISC-Certified Steel Fabricator and AISC-Certified Advanced Steel Erector. Since 1991, from our modern 60,000-square-foot facility just west of Austin, Texas, we’ve fabricated and erected structural steel for complex buildings and non-building structures — with a relentless focus on quality, safety, and pride in every project.

Every great project manager started by mastering the details. As Assistant Project Manager in our Central Texas division, you’ll learn steel project delivery from proposal to closeout — with real responsibility from day one, regular time in the field, and a defined runway to running your own jobs.

•     5 years of general project or construction experience

•     Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications

•     Strong oral and written communication skills

•     Analytical and problem-solving ability

•     Proficiency in MS Office Suite

•     Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

•     Commercial steel fabrication experience (strongly preferred)

•     Experience with Tekla

•     Familiarity with change-management processes and project metrics/reporting

•     Based at our corporate office: Las Cimas III, 805 Las Cimas Parkway, Bldg. III, Ste 100, Austin

•     Core office hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (excluding Patriot-observed holidays)

•     Regular visits to active job sites to monitor progress and address field needs
