This role

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to help keep that operation running across Latin America: reviewing alerts, supporting monitoring and testing, and preparing the reports and documentation that keep our program effective and defensible. This role sits at the intersection of anti-money laundering, consumer protection, ethics, and the broader compliance framework, and it is where a compliance professional builds the foundations of a strong regional career.

You will execute the day-to-day compliance operation independently on routine tasks, and take on more complex work with the support and supervision of the Compliance Officer and senior colleagues. You will support the program at local, regional, and global levels, partnering with compliance teams and business stakeholders across six markets. The work is varied and demanding, and it rewards proficiency, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to keep learning.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You are expected to bring initiative and sound judgment, to flag issues and propose solutions, and to grow steadily toward greater independence and ownership. Strategic direction and final accountability rest with the Compliance Officer.

This position reports to the Compliance Officer & MLRO.

  • Review, analyze, and disposition transaction monitoring and screening alerts as part of the daily compliance operation, keeping a clear and auditable trail.

  • Investigate cases and escalate those that warrant further review to the Compliance Officer, with support on the more complex matters.

  • Support the preparation of cases and analysis for presentation to the local AML committee.

  • Support compliance monitoring and testing routines at local, regional, and global levels, assessing whether controls operate as designed.

  • Help identify control gaps and improvement opportunities, and track remediation follow-up with the relevant owners.

  • Contribute to the ongoing operation and improvement of the compliance program.

  • Support consumer protection and transparency obligations, including the review of practices, disclosures, and related controls.

  • Support the ethics program, including the intake and follow-up of matters raised through the ethics/whistleblowing channel, in line with established playbooks.

  • Support the preparation and, where applicable, the submission of regulatory reports accurately and within deadline to the relevant regulators.

  • Help gather information and draft responses to regulator requests, examinations, and supervisory processes.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and key metrics on program performance (alerts, cases, testing results, remediation status, among others).

  • Support the drafting and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and prepare presentations and supporting documentation.

  • Provide operational support during internal audits and regulatory examinations, including the preparation and organization of evidence.

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2 years of experience in compliance within the financial services or fintech sector.

  • Domain knowledge: basic or introductory familiarity with AML/CFT, consumer protection, and ethics; new to the function and still building industry best practices, with a strong desire to learn.

  • Working style: able to execute routine compliance tasks and make basic decisions independently; works on complex tasks with support or supervision.

  • Ownership & initiative: brings energy, proactivity, and the initiative to flag issues and propose solutions; reliable follow-through.

  • Languages: strong written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus.

  • Attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

  • Comfort working with data, metrics, and structured processes, and collaborating across countries, cultures, and functions.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • 100% Company-funded Health and dental and vision discount plan for employees and immediate family members.
  • Life insurance.
  • Phone finance, Headphone, home office equipment and wellness perks.
  • 30 days of Christmas bonus
