Role Overview
The AM/DM– Legal will support business growth across verticals, with a strong focus on corporate advisory, contract management, and risk mitigation. The role requires close collaboration with business, finance, product, and compliance teams, along with active involvement in structuring and executing business transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, red-line, negotiate, and finalize commercial documents (contracts, letters, proposals, and similar instruments), ensuring risk mitigation and legal protection for the organization.
Address and resolve contractual issues arising in engagements with internal stakeholders, partners, service providers, and vendors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (compliance, product, finance, and business) to implement special projects across verticals on time.
Analyze business requirements, identify legal/commercial issues, and propose practical, implementable solutions.
Ensure strict adherence to internal legal frameworks, mandates, policies, and processes.
Provide end-to-end legal ownership and management of assigned business transactions.
Provide general corporate advisory support; research and assess the legal viability of proposed business models under applicable laws.
Identify risks in existing agreements and assist in revising contract templates and legal processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: LL.B. from a recognized university (Graduates from National Law Schools / DU / ILS / Symbiosis preferred).
Experience: 3+ years of experience in end-to-end contract management, with mandatory experience in a law firm.
Legal Acumen: Strong legal expertise paired with interpersonal skills to communicate and coordinate complex issues across diverse stakeholder groups.
Execution: High attention to detail with strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.
Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Office tools.
