Role Overview

Paytm is hiring three Directors to drive international business growth in Germany, the Netherlands and the United States. Each role holder will lead strategic partnerships, enterprise relationships and revenue growth in their market, and will work with regional and global leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Growth: Drive revenue growth by winning and managing strategic enterprise, merchant and partner relationships.

-Partnerships: Find, negotiate and close partnerships with banks, payment service providers, card schemes, fintech, marketplaces and technology platforms.

- Market Development: Assess market opportunities, competitors and customer needs, and turn them into business plans.

- Cross-Border Initiatives: Support cross-border payment and remittance opportunities between the assigned market and Paytm's other markets.

- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with the Product, Technology, Compliance, Legal and Finance teams to launch partnerships and deliver on commitments.

- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of business development and account management professionals.

- Reporting: Track the pipeline, revenue and partnership performance, and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

- At least 12 years of experience in payments, fintech, banking or financial technology, with a strong record in business development, partnerships or commercial leadership.

- An established network in the payments ecosystem of the assigned market.

- Experience negotiating and closing complex, high-value commercial agreements.

- A good understanding of merchant acquiring, cross-border payments, digital wallets or remittances.

- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

- Fluent in English. German or Dutch is an advantage for the European roles.

- Preferred: An MBA or postgraduate degree from a reputed institution.
