About the Role

At Paytm, we are building the next generation of intelligent payment experiences for millions of users.

We are looking for an AI-first Senior Product Manager who combines exceptional product thinking,

customer empathy, UX sensibility, and execution excellence with a strong understanding of modern AI

capabilities.

You will own high-impact consumer journeys across UPI payments, onboarding, mandates,

and engagement, while identifying opportunities where AI can simplify experiences, automate

workflows, and solve customer problems at scale.

You will work closely with Engineering, AI/Data Science, Design, Analytics, Risk, Operations, and

Business teams to build products that are intuitive, reliable, and loved by customers.

What You will Own

* Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for consumer-facing UPI experiences.

* Own critical customer journeys across UPI onboarding, payments, mandates, payment management, and engagement.

* Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and AI Agents to simplify customer journeys, improve payment success, and automate internal workflows. * Design AI-powered experiences such as intelligent assistants, conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, and workflow automation.

* Partner with Design to build simple, intuitive, and delightful user experiences. *Translate customer pain points into product opportunities backed by user research and data.

* Prioritize the roadmap using customer impact, business value, engineering effort, and regulatory requirements.

* Write high-quality PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and launch plans.

* Drive rapid experimentation through A/B testing and data-driven decision making.

* Analyze user funnels, behavioral insights, and product metrics to continuously improve customer experience.

* Work closely with Engineering throughout design, development, rollout, monitoring, and iteration.

* Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Customer Support, and Business teams to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant payment experiences.

What We are Looking For

Must Have

* 4+ years of Product Management experience building consumer-facing digital products.

* Experience in Fintech, Payments, Banking, UPI, or AI-powered consumer products.

* Strong product thinking with exceptional customer empathy and user experience focus.

* Demonstrated experience using Generative AI to improve product discovery, execution, documentation, analysis, or customer experience.

* Hands-on experience designing or implementing AI-assisted workflows, copilots, or agentic product experiences is highly desirable.

* Ability to write clear and structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.

* Strong analytical mindset with experience using product metrics, customer insights, and experimentation to drive decisions.

* Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and AI/Data Science teams.

* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization skills.

* Ability to independently drive ambiguous problem statements from discovery to launch.

AI Expectations

We expect our Product Managers to actively leverage AI in their day-to-day work.

Examples include:

* Using LLMs for product discovery, brainstorming, and customer research.

* Creating PRDs, user stories, product documentation, and specifications using AI.

* Building or configuring AI Agents to automate repetitive product workflows.

* Using AI for analytics, insight generation, competitive research, and decision support.

* Rapid prototyping of product ideas using AI-assisted tools.

* Designing AI-native customer experiences, copilots, or conversational interfaces.

* Evaluating AI solutions with a focus on customer value, safety, scalability, and measurable business outcomes.

* Experience with tools such as Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, MCP-based tools,or similar AI platforms will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

* Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred.

* UPI Payments (P2P, P2M, Scan & Pay, Intent, AutoPay, Mandates)

* Payment Success and Customer Experience Optimization Consumer Growth and Activation.

* AI Agents and Agentic Workflows, Prompt Engineering.

* Personal Finance Products.

* Wallets and Stored Value Instruments Digital Banking Knowledge of NPCI guidelines, RBI regulations, payment processing architecture, and digital payment ecosystems will be a strong advantage.
