Kosovo’s leading business chamber seeks a professional with strong experience in economic diplomacy and international trade promotion to enhance its operations and expand its impact.

The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce’s core challenge is its limited institutional capacity in economic diplomacy, which restricts Kosovo’s ability to diversify exports, attract foreign investment, and compete globally. This challenge persists because the country faces a shortage of professionals with specialized skills in international trade promotion, business diplomacy, and investment facilitation, alongside broader labor‑market constraints, such as high youth unemployment and a narrow export base concentrated in metals and agricultural products. Studies consistently highlight a significant national skills gap, where businesses struggle to find qualified workers with experience in globally oriented sectors. Strengthening economic diplomacy is recognized as a national priority by Kosovo’s government and business community. Due to limited institutional experience, constrained resources, and evolving global engagement needs, Kosovo Chamber of Commerce needs professional support to transfer international best practices, build sustainable organizational systems, and strengthen its capacity to serve as a competitive economic actor in regional and global markets.

As an Organizational Development Advisor, you will collaborate with Kosovo Chamber of Commerce’s International Cooperation Department to build strategic and operational plans, design evaluation tools, develop governance frameworks, and strengthen monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems. You will strengthen competencies in economic diplomacy, international trade promotion, export development, investment facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and international partnership management.
