The Opportunity: CNC Machinist

Your Role: The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills. You will set up, operate, and manufacture products according to blueprint specifications and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

→ Setup and operate various CNC mill machines, adhering to the blueprint specifications
→Conduct first piece inspection to ensure the part is free of defects and ready for the next stage of production.
→Comply with all aspects of 5S
→Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Reports To: Machining Manager

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

→Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent
→3+ years experience in a machine shop environment
→3+ years experience working with mill machines

Preferred Qualifications:

→Associates in Precision Machining
→Experience with multi-axis CNC milling with FANUC controls, MAZAK, or similar
→Experience in horizontal mill machines

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00 per hour.
