About the Role

~1 min read

We are looking for a confident, personable, and results-driven Outreach / Appointment-Setting Specialist to join our client, an Australian SaaS company supporting NDIS providers.

In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to NDIS providers, identifying the right decision-makers, creating interest in the company's software solution, and booking qualified software demonstrations with the General Manager.

This is primarily an outbound outreach and appointment-setting role, rather than a full-cycle sales or account management position.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Make high-volume outbound calls to NDIS providers using a supplied prospect list.
  • Identify and connect with appropriate decision-makers, including Operations Managers, General Managers, business owners, and software/platform decision-makers.
  • Introduce the company's SaaS solution using approved scripts, talking points, and product information.
  • Ask relevant questions to understand the provider's needs and determine whether the solution may be suitable.
  • Build genuine interest and guide conversations toward booking a software demonstration.
  • Book qualified demonstrations directly with the General Manager.
  • Follow up with prospective providers where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, contacts, outcomes, and follow-up activities.
  • Track outreach and engagement activity using Airtable, shared spreadsheets, and relevant calling or appointment-scheduling tools.
  • Share recurring objections, market feedback, and lead-quality insights to help improve outreach messaging and conversion.
  • Maintain a professional and conversational approach when speaking with Australian businesses and senior stakeholders.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, lead generation, B2B sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong spoken English and confident phone communication.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Proven ability to identify and engage the correct business decision-maker.
  • Strong conversational skills, with the ability to respond naturally rather than simply read from a script.
  • Comfortable introducing a SaaS product, handling basic questions, and moving conversations toward a demonstration.
  • Persistent and resilient when handling rejection.
  • Organized, accurate, and disciplined with follow-up and activity tracking.
  • Able to listen, use sound judgment, and communicate confidently with Australian senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive in providing feedback that can improve messaging, lead quality, and conversion.
  • Experience with CRM or lead-tracking systems is desirable.
  • Experience with Airtable, shared spreadsheets, outbound calling, and appointment-scheduling tools is an advantage.

Nice to Have

~1 min read

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial, but is not required:

  • NDIS or disability services
  • Healthcare
  • SaaS or software
  • B2B sales
  • Lead generation
  • Appointment setting

The primary measure of success in this role is the number of qualified software demonstrations booked.

As an initial guide, the target is approximately 10 qualified demonstrations for every 100 providers contacted.

Performance will also be assessed based on:

  • Call activity
  • Contact rate
  • Decision-maker conversations
  • Call-to-demo conversion
  • Follow-up conversion
  • Conversation quality
  • Demonstration attendance
  • Overall opportunity and lead quality

The focus is not simply on booking meetings. The goal is to ensure qualified NDIS providers attend demonstrations with a genuine understanding of the solution and why they are meeting with the team.

  • A list of NDIS provider prospects to contact
  • Call scripts and talking points
  • Product training
  • Guidance on the target provider profile
  • Ongoing feedback based on demonstration quality
  • Required calling and software access
