Full-Time Merchandiser

Pepsi of Worcester & Windham is a family-owned and operated independent Pepsi franchise in operation since 1956. We service the greater Worcester County, MA and Windham County, CT areas.

The purpose of this role is to sell and merchandise product within designated accounts. This includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, stocking and rotating products in coolers, organizing and rotating products in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.

•Collaborate with cross-functional team members (e.g., SDL, delivery) that help align ourselves better with the customer.
•Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products each time in designated accounts.
•Maximize profitable sales opportunities by thoroughly understanding the customer's business and building relationships based on trust and integrity.
•Successfully sell promotional plans that align with and support the customer's and Windham Pepsi-Cola’s business objectives and strategies.
•Ability to collaboratively sell and overcome customer objections for display and incremental opportunities.
•Sell-in and implement promotional strategies for the introduction of new brands and packages.

Qualifications/Requirements:
•Demonstrated ability to use an iOS handheld device
•Moving products within a store (for example, safely stacking and moving products on equipment such as a U-boat, hand truck/dolly and/or breakdown)
•Ability to work with minimal supervision
•This position requires lifting, loading, bending, squatting, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20 – 55 pounds,
and moving pallets with a pallet jack. Must be able to push/pull up to 50-250 pounds.
•Merchandising products to employer/customer set standards
•Managing & rotating backroom/stock room inventory (organizing pallets, stacking and storing inventory or
products)
•Must be able to work daytime hours, weekends and holidays
•Must have valid Driver's License in good standing
•Minimum 5 years retail experience
