What does a Support Worker do?
With Phoenix Healthcare, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of essential tasks from:

• Household Management (cleaning and meal preparation)
• Community Integrations
• Giving medications
• Personal Care Assistance (showering, dressing, toileting and bowel and bladder care)

We are looking for support workers available on weekends and are available to start immediately.

To thrive in Support Working role, you will be:

• Be able to start immediately (must be living within Timaru, Temuka, or Ashburton). 
• A minimum Level 2 qualification in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent from another country, is beneficial but not essential. We also welcome applicants who may not hold formal qualifications but have relevant previous experience.
• Ability to pass a police vet.
• A full NZ Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle 
• Having a current First Aid Certificate is a bonus, and if you don’t have one, we can help you obtain it.
• Flexibility opens doors to more shifts! We have a variety of shifts (including covers, sleepovers, wake overs
and weekend shifts)
