Sutter Health offers a uniquely physician‑aligned environment, large enough to support innovation and investment, yet local enough to preserve the autonomy, relationships, and purpose that matter to clinicians.

SWBMG is a premier multi-specialty medical group made up of nearly 500 clinicians practicing in the greater San Francisco service area. SWBMG works in partnership with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF), a non-profit organization providing care through its affiliation with SWBMG. Physicians work as a team to provide patient-focused care that encourages a sense of teamwork. SPMF provides physicians with an administrative infrastructure, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.

Work alongside a robust multidisciplinary team that includes cognitive neurologists, neuropsychologists, social workers, advanced practice providers, geropsychology support, and dedicated administrative staff. The program is built around a collaborative model that supports both patients and their families throughout the continuum of care.
Be part of a growing program leading the implementation of advanced Alzheimer's treatments and innovative therapeutic approaches. Physicians have the opportunity to help shape the future of dementia care while maintaining a strong clinical focus.
Enjoy access to research collaborations, clinical trials, and therapeutic innovation without the pressure of a research-driven career. Research participation is available but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking meaningful clinical practice and longitudinal patient relationships.
  • Outpatient-focused practice
  • No anticipated call responsibilities
  • Integrated telehealth capabilities
  • Strong administrative and clinical support
  • Opportunity to develop and grow a subspecialty interest within cognitive neurology
In addition to direct patient care, physicians may participate in:
  • Multidisciplinary case conferences
  • Program development initiatives
  • Alzheimer's therapeutic programs
  • Clinical trials and research collaborations
  • Educational and mentorship activities throughout the program
The Ray Dolby Brain Health Center continues to experience significant growth and serves as a regional referral destination for complex cognitive disorders. The program has completed thousands of patient evaluations annually and continues to expand its clinical services, multidisciplinary infrastructure, and advanced therapeutics offerings.
