Pediatric Hospitalist - PRN - Mease Countryside Hospital

Join a dedicated team supporting Mease Countryside Hospital's 8-bed general pediatric unit and contribute to the growth of a pediatric hospitalist service focused on quality, efficiency, and exceptional family-centered care. Your experience and insights will help strengthen the program as it evolves.

 

 

Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care, including: 

• Pediatric admissions and daily patient management  

• Discharge planning and care coordination 

• Pediatric emergency department consultations 

• Collaboration with specialists and multidisciplinary teams 

 

Even in a PRN capacity, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality care and supporting the development of a new pediatric hospital medicine program. Work closely with nursing, care management, hospital leadership, and physician colleagues to promote best practices and optimize patient outcomes.

 

 

We welcome pediatricians with pediatric hospital medicine experience who are energized by program development, collaboration, and leadership opportunities. • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). 

• Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited residency in Pediatrics. 

• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics 

• PALS, NRP, BLS Certifications 

• Prior pediatric inpatient/hospitalist experience preferred
