Senior ServiceNow Developer - NV1 cleared - Urgent

A major System Integrator is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a Federal Government client delivering and enhancing core ServiceNow capabilities across ITSM, ITOM and integrations. This is an immediate start contract role requiring active NV1 (or higher) security clearance.

  Develop and configure ServiceNow solutions across ITSM modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge).

  Deliver ITOM capabilities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and operational dashboards/health views (as applicable).

• →

  Build and support integrations using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, scripted integrations, and event/message patterns.

• →

  Produce high-quality server-side and client-side scripting (JavaScript), including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies/Actions, Client Scripts, Catalog Items/Workflows/Flows.

  Implement automation using Flow Designer and support legacy workflow where required.

• →

  Provide technical leadership on build standards, code quality, performance, and platform best practice.

• →

  Troubleshoot, tune and resolve defects, platform issues, integration failures and data quality problems.

• →

  Contribute to release planning, CI/CD where implemented, change management and production support.

• →

  Develop technical documentation, runbooks, configuration guides and knowledge articles.

• →

  Work within secure delivery practices and adhere to Federal Government policies, governance and audit requirements.

• Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated delivery across ITSM and ITOM (including at least one of Discovery / Service Mapping / Event Management).

• Solid experience delivering integrations (IntegrationHub, APIs, MID Server, data transformation/mapping).

• Strong scripting skills and ability to work with complex customisation while keeping solutions supportable.

• Experience with CMDB and service modelling concepts, CI relationships and data governance.

• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders in a structured delivery environment.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (e.g., ITSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)

• ITIL Foundation (or higher)
