The Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) invites quotes from suitable qualified providers to undertake an independent workplace fact-finding process in relation to a complex personnel matter located in Port Adelaide. The objective of this engagement is to obtain an impartial assessment of the matters raised with a mediation and culturally sensitive approach, establish relevant facts, and provide recommendations to support ASA’s consideration of the appropriate next steps. The successful provider will undertake an independent review of the matters referred, including examination of relevant documentation, consultation with key stakeholders, and assessment of available information and evidence. The engagement must be conducted professionally, impartially and with cultural sensitivity, confidentiality and procedural fairness.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Conduct an independent workplace fact-finding review of a complex personnel matter.
- →Examine relevant documentation and available evidence.
- →Consult with key stakeholders identified by the agency.
- →Undertake potentially up to 20 stakeholder interviews.
- →Conduct interviews and discussions in person where practicable.
- →Apply a mediation and culturally sensitive approach throughout the engagement.
- →Maintain confidentiality, impartiality and procedural fairness.
- →Identify relevant facts, risks, issues and key observations.
- →Develop a written approach and delivery plan, including a delivery schedule.
- →Provide progress updates as reasonably requested during the engagement.
- →Prepare a comprehensive written report documenting the methodology, findings of fact, conclusions and practical recommendations.
- →Provide a verbal briefing to the agency delegate on the outcome of the fact-finding process.
- Start-up meeting with the people policy team and key agency contact.
- A written/documented approach and plan including a delivery schedule.
- Interviews with relevant stakeholders, potentially up to 20 interviews.
- Final report incorporating findings, conclusions and options for consideration.
- Verbal briefing to the agency delegate on the outcome of the fact-finding process.
Requirements
~1 min readAll contractor personnel engaged under this arrangement must hold a minimum NV1 security clearance. Contractor personnel may also be required to complete the ASA Pre-Engagement Suitability Screening and satisfy additional workforce security requirements prior to commencement.
