The ADF is seeking a Safety System Engineer to lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V and certification. The role will ensure safety obligations, evidence and traceability remain aligned with the program while maintaining compliance with Defence regulatory and statutory requirements.

• → Lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V and certification, ensuring safety obligations, evidence and traceability remain aligned with the program.
• → Coordinate safety analysis, hazard controls, assurance activities and specialist inputs to maintain compliance with Defence regulatory and statutory requirements.
• → Provide senior judgment to integrate system safety implications into schedule, design decisions, and Governance Artefacts.
• → System safety program documentation, hazard analysis and assurance evidence.
• → Certification artefacts, V&V alignment and technical review outputs.
• → Safety decision records and governance read briefings.
