Field Technology and Infrastructure Technician

Location: Pipestone, MN

Join PIPESTONE as a Field Technology & Infrastructure Technician and play a key role in keeping our technology systems running efficiently across offices, feed mills, and pig farms throughout the Midwest.
What You'll Do:

✅ Respond quickly to IT support requests and troubleshoot technical issues
✅ Support network infrastructure, firewalls, backup systems, security cameras, and other IT equipment
✅ Install and configure computers, printers, mobile devices, access points, and related hardware
✅ Utilize remote monitoring and management tools for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
✅ Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software across multiple locations
✅ Travel to offices, feed mills, and farm sites throughout the Midwest to provide on-site technical support
What We're Looking For:

✔ Working knowledge of Windows-based computer systems in a business environment
✔ Understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals
✔ Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and time-management skills
✔ Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
✔ Experience with help desk/ticketing systems is a plus
✔ CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or related credentials are a plus
✔ Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus, but not required
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required

Work Environment:

• Agricultural office environments and bio-secure facilities
• Travel to various PIPESTONE locations, feed mills, and farm sites throughout the Midwest
