Bartender Job Title: Bartender Reports To: General Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: A bartender is a person who serves beverages, behind a bar. A bartender’s work is to tend, mix and serves cocktails and other drinks, mainly alcoholic beverages to guests.

- Skills – Bartender must be able to mix drinks according to drink recipes and requirements.
- Guest Service - Responds promptly to guest needs.
- Interpersonal – Provides a friendly and hospitable service to guests.
- Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and listens to guests; responds well to questions.
- Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments.
- Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. Stamina to work up to 40 hours each week, more if needed. Be able to work open, mid, and close shifts as required.
