As a Senior Backend Software Developer on this team, you will bring your A-game to play every day and take advantage of unique opportunities to learn and grow. We have a brief exercise for you to help us ascertain your aptitude and skill level.

What you will do:

• Managing the entire software development life cycle from concept design through to implementation and application maintenance.
• Develop, test, deploy and optimize new products and/or features that ensure well-designed, robust, scalable, testable functionalities by using C# and .NET frameworks.
• Maintain and improve application security, availability, and performance of existing systems and solutions.
• Design and update operations for relational and columnar databases in applications.
• Working with team members to improve software development skills by using suitable and applicable code review and software coding methodologies.
• Coordinate with the product management, and testing teams periodically on new releases, patches, and fixes.
• Implement new tools, technologies, process/practices to improve existing products and solutions.
• Working with complex frameworks to make complete refactoring or rewriting.
• Participate in team discussions and play active role with the design decisions.

What you need to be successful:

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or Telecommunications SME without the relevant degree will also be considered
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in object-oriented analysis and design skills
• Expert level skills in .NET Framework, .NET Core and C# development.
• Through understanding of database transactions and concurrent programming
• Experience with ORM frameworks.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
• High-level understanding for the company domain operations and mentoring junior and mid-level developers on any kind of domain, design and implementation related issues.
• Awareness of latest trends, tools and principles and being able to use them wherever applicable.
• Understanding and proper documentation skills about development standards, infrastructure of the systems/frameworks that are built by themselves.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Ability to reside and work in Turkey, without requiring work permit sponsorship.

Good to have

• Hands-on experience in relational database performance management.
• Expertise on Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Clickhouse databases.
• Hands-on experience of CI/CD operations.
