Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Define and lead the global real-time communications strategy and roadmap to support the firm’s trading, research, and collaboration needs
- →Build and scale enterprise-grade trader voice and trading-floor communications platforms that deliver low-latency, high-availability, and measurable business impact
- →Lead, recruit, and mentor a large, cross-functional team of engineers, operators, and product managers to deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence
- →Design and execute end-to-end migrations to cloud telephony and contact center platforms, including planning, cutover, and post-deployment optimization
- →Partner with trading desks, business leaders, and security teams to translate business requirements into resilient, auditable communications services and service-level agreements
- →Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and driving vendor accountability for delivery and support
- →Drive operational readiness through incident response, capacity planning, monitoring, change control, and fault-tolerant architecture for real-time voice and collaboration services
- →Oversee architecture, security, and compliance for all real-time communications components, ensuring integration with enterprise networking and identity systems
- →Set performance metrics, manage budgets, and deliver measurable improvements in availability, latency, and user experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise telephony, real-time communications, or voice technology roles, including designing and deploying cloud telephony at enterprise scale
- Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-functional technical teams responsible for both operations and engineering
- Direct experience with trader voice systems and trading-floor communications operations
- Hands-on experience implementing and operating telephony and collaboration platforms, including BT, Cisco, Cloud9, Unigy, Zoom, and enterprise contact center solutions
- Proven experience managing carrier and vendor relationships, circuit lifecycles, and delivering large-scale voice projects with measurable outcomes
- Strong technical expertise in voice networking, including SIP and related protocols, session border controllers, and voice quality management for real-time services
- Strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and written and verbal communication skills
- Based in New York or Stamford, Connecticut, with availability for after-hours support and major deployments

The annual base salary range for this role is $250,000-$300,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
